Bonita Springs-based Interactyx Limited's training software for businesses, academic departments, associations and nonprofit organizations - TOPYX - has been named the 2012 Best of Elearning! award winner as the Best Social Learning Solution, beating out the other finalists, Microsoft’s Yammer and Cornerstone OnDemand’s Connect.
This is the fourth consecutive year that TOPYX has received the award from Elearning! Media Group, which is solely based on voter ballots.
“The Best of Elearning! Awards program formalizes the informal 'word-of-mouth' referrals practiced in our industry. According to our survey, 85 percent of professionals have personally recommended a learning solution to a colleague over the past 12 months. And 61 percent agreed that award recognition impacted their buying decision,” said Catherine Upton, group publisher of the Elearning! Media Group.
“Given the number of nominations, to earn an Award of Excellence is quite an honor,” Upton said. “And, to be named a category winner is a true testament to the vendor’s product and service excellence.” A total of 3,881 nominations were received over a three-month period, a 221 percent increase over 2011.

TOPYX was recently recognized by the Southwest Florida Regional Technology Partnership as the winner of the fourth annual technology awards for innovation. Other recent awards include: Brandon Hall Group’s acknowledgment of multi-gold medal awards winner for Excellence in Technology and being named by Chief Learning Officer magazine one of the top learning management systems to watch.
